Fresh Salad with Fried Cheese and Onions!

Ingredients

Ingredients (for 4 servings) For the Salad:
  • 100 g mixed greens
  • 80 g Dimdiņi pickled onions
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 80 g sun-dried tomatoes
  • 30 g butter for frying
For the Cheese:
  • 200 g frying cheese (caraway cheese or other frying cheese can be used)
For the Dressing:
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • a pinch of salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Cut the cheese into small pieces. Heat a pan with butter and fry the cheese for 5-7 minutes on both sides (the cheese can also be grilled).
  2. Cut the salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, and sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces.
  3. For the dressing, mix olive oil with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange the salad in a bowl: salad leaves, both types of tomatoes, onions, and cheese. Drizzle with dressing and serve.
