Grey Pea Fritters!

Ingredients (for 4 servings):
For the Fritters:
- 200 g cooked Dimdiņi grey peas
- 2 onions
- 1 L milk
- 2 eggs
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 500 ml oil (for deep-frying)
- Pinch of salt, pepper
- 100 g sour cream or plain yogurt
- ½ teaspoon mustard
- Pinch of caraway seeds
- Pinch of salt, pepper
Preparation:
- Boil the peas in milk for 8-10 minutes to revive them.
- Sauté finely chopped onions in oil over medium heat.
- Mash the peas with the onions, one egg, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Form into balls, coat in egg and breadcrumbs. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Deep-fry in hot oil and drain.
- For the sauce, mix sour cream with caraway seeds, mustard, and salt.
- Serve the balls with the sauce.
