Grilled chicken fillet with picnic salad and mint sauce!

Ingredients

Ingredients (for 4 servings): For the chicken fillet and marinade:
  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 600-700 ml warm water
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • Pinch of salt
For the Salad:
  • 500 g Dimdiņi fresh picnic cabbage salad with bell pepper
For the sauce:
  • 160 g plain yogurt
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 1 small chili
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix water, vinegar, cumin, and salt. Place the meat pieces in the marinade and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Fire up the grill.
  4. Thread the marinated meat onto wooden skewers and grill until cooked (30-40 minutes).
  5. Blend all sauce ingredients in a blender.
  6. Serve the chicken with picnic salad and sauce.
