Beef burger with pickled onions!

Ingredients

What you'll need (for 4 people) For the burgers:
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4-6 lettuce leaves
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1-2 tomatoes
  • 2 small fresh cucumbers
  • 200 g Dimdiņi pickled onions
  • 100 g cheddar cheese
  • olive oil for frying
  • a pinch of salt and pepper
For the sauce:
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 50 g tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Fire up the grill.
  2. Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper, and form into patties. Grill on both sides for 15-20 minutes until done.
  3. Slice the tomatoes, pickles, and cheese.
  4. In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients together.
  5. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill on both sides.
  6. Assemble the burger: layer the lettuce, patty, cheese, and vegetables, then pour over the sauce and add the pickled onions.
